Unpopular take: I wasted $200 on an AI project management tool and went back to paper lists

Spent $200 on a fancy AI tool that was supposed to optimize my crew schedules and job estimates, but it kept messing up the details on a big move in Austin last month. My handwritten notes with colored highlighters worked better and saved me a headache. Anyone else find simple methods beat the hype?

Man that $200 hurts. I bought into the scheduling hype too and spent a weekend setting it up only to have it double book me on a job. Pen and paper never crashes on me.

Saw a YouTube breakdown of these AI tools and the guy basically said they're just fancy to-do lists that break when you least expect it. Sounds like your highlighter system is more reliable than that nonsense.
