Question about my AI writing assistant failing on a simple task

I was using an AI tool to draft a short email for my landlord last Tuesday, and it turned a simple request about a leaky faucet into a three paragraph rant about tenant rights. The tool just went off the rails and made me look like a crazy person. Has anyone else had an AI tool suddenly break on basic stuff or was this just a one time glitch?

See it differently honestly. The AI was just being thorough about explaining how a small repair can snowball into bigger issues if you're renting. Sometimes tenants need to know their rights just to get a landlord to pick up the phone.
